Roots

In 1959, a newly married, Samuel Ruga, started a small appliance repair business. In order to expand, Sam, sent out multiple letters to area contractors soliciting electrical work. 

One of his earliest customers, a service station contractor, hired him to wire a gas station. He worked during the day and was assisted in the evenings by his brother, Dan. Together, they continued to grow their company's customer base.

In time, he got to know an engineer from a major oil company who encouraged him to start installing the tanks as well. Shortly after, full gas station construction services became the standard.

While his two sons have gone on to lead the company, each of their four sisters have worked at the company. Janet, their youngest sister, continues unto this day.
